A cette \u00e9poque, Ford n\u2019a qu\u2019un seul objectif : battre Ferrari aux 24 Heures du Mans. Une rivalit\u00e9 connue de tout passionn\u00e9 qui se respecte, et qui a d\u00e9sormais droit \u00e0 son film. Intitul\u00e9\u00a0<em>Le Mans 66<\/em>, celui-ci se concentre essentiellement sur le r\u00f4le qu\u2019a tenu Ford dans ce duel.<\/p><p>Christian Bale incarnera Ken Miles, pilote britannique et co\u00e9quipier de Denny Hulme dans la\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.topgear-magazine.fr\/ford-gt-merkury-pardo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GT40<\/a>n\u00b01 avec laquelle il faillit gagner la course en 1966. Faillit seulement\u2026 alors qu\u2019il \u00e9tait en t\u00eate, on lui demanda de ralentir pour que la GT40 n\u00b02 \u2013 pilot\u00e9e par Bruce McLaren \u2013 puisse franchir la ligne en m\u00eame temps que lui. La photo n\u2019en fut que plus belle mais lui co\u00fbta la victoire. A ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s, Matt Damon jouera le g\u00e9nie m\u00e9canique Carroll Shelby (doit-on vraiment le pr\u00e9senter ?).<\/p><p>Le pitch officiel annonce que Miles (Bale) et Shelby (Damon) ont d\u00fb \u00ab\u00a0<em>combattre les interf\u00e9rences politiques, les lois de la physique et leurs propres d\u00e9mons pour b\u00e2tir une voiture de course r\u00e9volutionnaire badg\u00e9e Ford, et renverser enfin en 1966 la domination des voitures d\u2019Enzo Ferrari aux 24 Heures du Mans<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p><p>C\u2019est aussi \u00e0 Mangold que l\u2019on doit\u00a0<em>Walk the Line<\/em>\u00a0et\u00a0<em>Logan<\/em>. De bons films (m\u00eame si \u00e7a n\u2019est pas notre domaine d\u2019expertise) ! Toujours est-il que la bande-annonce de\u00a0<em>Le Mans 66<\/em>\u00a0et les premi\u00e8res images semblent assez excitantes. Le film devrait pouvoir faire honneur \u00e0 cette histoire vraie devenue depuis une v\u00e9ritable
