\/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<br \/>\nSi la Ford GT est d\u00e9j\u00e0 une voiture rare, qu&rsquo;en est-il alors des mod\u00e8les qui ont servi de prototype pour la mise au point de cette voiture de l\u00e9gende\u00a0? Aujourd&rsquo;hui, c&rsquo;est donc une pi\u00e8ce rare mise en valeur et qui sera prochainement propos\u00e9e aux ench\u00e8res\u00a0par la maison Russo and Steele, lors d\u2019une vente \u00e0 Scottsdale (en Arizona), au milieu du mois de janvier prochain. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une Ford GT CP-1 de 2004, CP comme Confirmation Prototype avec le num\u00e9ro VIN 004. Il s&rsquo;agissait du premier prototype motoris\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019habitacle complet, et enti\u00e8rement fonctionnel.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nCe prototype \u00e9tait jusqu&rsquo;alors expos\u00e9 au mus\u00e9e de la marque \u00e0 l&rsquo;ovale bleu et appartenait depuis 2008 \u00e0\u00a0Joey Limongelli. Dans tous les cas, le prototype ne peut malheureusement pas aspirer \u00e0 autre chose que des expositions puisque la voiture n&rsquo;est pas homologu\u00e9e pour la route. En effet, malgr\u00e9 son moteur V8 et sa bo\u00eete de vitesses m\u00e9canique \u00e0 six rapport pour la forme, la voiture est brid\u00e9e \u00e0 seulement 8 km\/h.<br \/>\nLa Ford GT CP-1 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie \u00e9galement de quelques sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s int\u00e9ressantes, puisque jamais vues sur les Ford GT de s\u00e9rie qui ont d\u00e9coul\u00e9 peu apr\u00e8s. En effet, la voiture est pourvue d&rsquo;airbags pioch\u00e9s \u00e0 la Ford Mustang, d&rsquo;une colonne de direction Windstar, d&rsquo;un compresseur noir (contre argent\u00e9 pour la version de s\u00e9rie), ou encore d&rsquo;un capot r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en fibre de carbone (contre de l&rsquo;aluminium pour la version de s\u00e9rie).<br \/>\nPour la petite histoire, les treize membres d\u00e9di\u00e9s au d\u00e9veloppement de la voiture ont tous sign\u00e9, dont Bill Ford, l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re-petit-fils de Henry Ford, ou encore\u00a0Carroll Shelby et Camillo Pardo.
